Avocado and Tomato Salsa

牛油果有着很丰富的营养。可是老板说他很怕那牛油果腻腻恶心的滋味而我却很想吃。可是如果只买一颗会更贵。周末逛Jusco 买了一盒大约十块,而且promoter还贴心的在 shelf 上贴了几道食谱,让顾客学着怎么料理。牛油果可以当水果吃,也可以打成果汁,拌入沙拉和寿司。最后一次吃 Carl's Junior 时,它的 Salad Bar 有serve tomota salsa。那微微酸辣的滋味不但非常开胃而且可以给我们吃着的汉堡解腻呢。今天我们要料理 Stew Chicken with Whisky Gravy,所以我就多准备了一个 Avocado and Tomato Salsa。想不到对牛油果恐惧的老板说:“味道不错, 如果有 salmon sashimi 更好吃”,然后就把 Avocado and Tomato Salsa 一口接一口吃完了~

Avocado and Tomato Salsa

材料 (2人份):
牛油果              1颗 (去皮和种子)
番茄                  2颗  (去皮和种子)
小葱头              半粒
芫茜                  1 汤匙 (切碎)
青柠汁              2 汤匙
Tabasco Sauce   些许

黑胡椒

1. 将去皮和种子的牛油果和番茄切成小颗粒。小葱头也一样。
2. 拌匀。
3. 加入青柠汁,几滴Tabasco Sauce,些许盐和黑胡椒。
4. 再加入切碎芫茜,拌匀。
5. 将碗用锡纸或保鲜膜盖上,放入冰箱冷藏1小时。

Serve 2:
Ripe firm avocado        1 (with skin peeled and seeded)
Large firm tomatoes     2 (with skin peeled and seeded)
Red onion                    1/2 (small)
Coriander                    1 Tablespoon (chopped)
Lime juice                    2 Tablespoon
Tabasco sauce             few drops
Salt
Ground black pepper

1. Chop the peeled and seeded tomatoes and avocado into small dice. Do the same with the onion.
2. Combine the dice in a bowl.
3. Add in the fresh squeezed lime juice, few drops of Tabasco sauce and season with some ground black pepper and pinch of salt to taste.
4. Tossed the salsa well with some chopped fresh coriander.
5. Cover the bowl and chill in fridge for an hour for the flavours to develop.
